SEC Rankings Analysis

The SEC continues its dominance with 7 teams in the AP Top 25. Georgia leads the conference at #1, receiving 60 first-place votes. The conference boasts four teams in the Top 10: Georgia, Texas (#5), Alabama (#7), and Ole Miss (#8).

Notable Movement

  • Biggest Rise: Alabama surged 7 spots to #7 after extending their win streak, while Missouri jumped 9 spots to #14.
  • Falling Hard: LSU, once a contender at #3, has fallen 19 spots to #22 after a tough 4-3 stretch in conference play.
  • Dropped Out: Vanderbilt (previously #20) and Auburn (previously #22) have fallen from the Top 25.
